The sabbatical is over and it is now time to get back to work. I didn’t intend to be away from the blog for this long; so for the moment, let’s call it a sabbatical. The time away occurred out of fear and the uncertainty of where I wanted to take this blog. Quite frankly I still have no idea where this blog will take me but I do know that I am not going on this journey alone. All are welcome to join me for whatever time you have to spare.

I have discovered that I may not know where this adventure will lead me but I do know what I am willing to do. I am willing to receive judgment from others that call what I believe as heresy, blasphemy, and sacrilege. I will receive those judgments but they will leave as soon as they arrive; for I now understand and accept that it others’ insecurities that are being revealed through those judgments not the value of my beliefs.
Since I am writing about adventures on my spiritual path, there are going to be some things written on this page that some people will take offense. I will be using words like faith, hope, peace, and my two favorite words love and compassion. Other words that you will see posted on this page will include inspire, awareness, imagine, and joy. You say these words don’t seem so bad to use. Well, I am afraid I am not going to stop there. The words prayer, meditation, and affirmations will be seen. Also God will be mentioned now and again being intertwined with Universe, Spirit, Source, Higher Power, and even the Force.
For every person that is in this world, there are that many paths to God. Being spiritual is that daily homework you do every moment of the day when away from the safety and security of your spiritual home, family, and friends. There are many individuals in the world that have a profound spirit without professing to be a member to any religious affiliation. That is why all are welcome to read my blogs and those who can, you may comment here as you feel compelled to do so.
However; this may sound like a disclaimer but it must be mentioned – even though I welcome all passionate discussions (since it is a great way to learn and share); I will not tolerate belligerent outbursts particularly to others commenting or guest blogging. Throw what you will to me for it is my page but show love and compassion for others at all times.
Love and blessings to all,
Kristin
