I would like to take this moment to say thank you to all who have trickled onto my Facebook page over time and have chosen to “like” it. As you can see, the page has approached the 100 “likes” milestone. In the past 5 days I have received 13 “likes”. My first 13 “likes” took more than 5 days to obtain which included begging and hacking family and friends (they didn’t mind).

This past month I have been feeling lethargic and deeply doubtful of my claim “I AM A SPIRITUAL ADVENTURER.” I have not been adventurous for quite some time – contributing anything original for several months or even written on the blog for over a year. Instead I have been hiding from this world; diligently causing myself to be invisible and desperately stuffing myself into the mold that my ego so very much wants me to fit in to.

I do know that last weekend on my way home from work I prayed – and quite frankly I almost forgot that I did pray – for God to show me anything to point me on my path. I remember praying that I wasn’t demanding anything dramatic to prove that God exists; I know that God (the Universe, Source) exists – I believe in the magic of the sacred energy that lives inside each of us. I remember saying that I would leave it to God to choose the message but I did fervently ask for one thing – the ability to recognize the message. Almost instantaneously the message began to arrive; it came in the form of Facebook “likes”. When the count made it into the 90’s, I asked myself where are these “likes” coming from and more importantly why? It took no time to answer my own question. It was most definitely a “ah-ha” moment.
