Stepping onto the Path

Busy, busy, busy. Not really. Shortly after my first post, I went on a holiday across the country to a warmer climate for a family wedding. After the week was over, I came back home to the chilly weather and was welcomed home with a cold. Fortunately I still had a few days before I had to go back to work, so I concentrated on being healthy and by the time I returned to work my symptoms diminished.  Once I returned to work, I got back into the normal habits of work, home, and friends.

IAASA0002Add the fact that I didn’t know what to write about at the time except the misery of illness and the redundancy of work (negative views), I stayed away of publishing a new post. I did take some time to think more about what I would like to concentrate on when posting on the blog. I have created a few categories that I believe will allow me to focus and have subject matter to write about.

The first category is about me trying new things, “Out of the Cave…”. The best example is creating this blog.

The second category, “& onto the Path”,  concentrates on becoming a better person; continuing my journey of spiritual awareness through my everyday experiences. Some examples of this is biting one’s tongue before sharing an opinion, forgiving someone (including myself) for a past transgression, and having faith in taking this path.

“Crossing Paths” involves making connections with others. This includes meeting someone for the first time or re-connecting with someone after a period of time.

Another category involves being in the moment, “Here & Now”. I hope to become familiar with the mobile applications of this site so I can share moments on the spot. This category will also serve as those let’s bring everyone up-to-date moments.

A fifth category, “Serve with Purpose”, would highlight the service of others within their community (may it be large or small). I want to primarily write about those who volunteer but sometimes there are those in a community who live the dream of serving with purpose as their profession.

I am learning to be more in the habit of writing on a regular basis. Already I have in my head a couple of posts that I hope to write soon and share with each of you.

Until next time,

Kristin
